Our Spring Concert series continues on Sunday 30 March with Trio Goya (Kati Debretzeni, Sebastian Comberti & Maggie Cole). Making a welcome return to SVF with a programme tailored to the historic Broadwood piano in St Mary’s Church, Boxford, they play Schubert Trio no. 1 in B flat major, Dvorak Trio in G minor op. 26 and Paganini’s sparkling Duetto Concertante in A major.

On Monday 25 May in St Mary’s Church Hadleigh we mark the 400th anniversary of one of England’s greatest composers – Orlando Gibbons – with a programme covering the whole range of his music from full and verse anthems (including ‘This is the record of John’), madrigals (‘The Silver Swan’), the amusing ‘Cries of London’ and his superb music for viol consort.
