- Julian Perkins harpsichord
Helen Charlston has delighted SVF audiences over the last few years, notably as Juno in Eccles’s Semele, as Penelope in Monteverdi’s Il ritorno d’Ulisse and as the soloist in our first post-lockdown concert. She is a rising star of the early music scene, winning first prize in the 2018 Handel Singing Competition and becoming a BBC New Generation Artist for 2021-23.
We are very grateful to Julian Perkins who has agreed to step in at short notice as harpsichordist for this concert. However, please note the necessary change to the previously advertised programme.
